Traveling Harriet Tubman statue to stand outside City Hall through March

A traveling Harriet Tubman statue will temporarily stand outside of City Hall in Philadelphia, beginning Tuesday and lasting through the end of March. ‘Harriet Tubman — The Journey to Freedom’ depicts Tubman’s efforts to free hundreds of enslaved African Americans through the Underground Railroad. The monument is coming to Philly as part of the city’s celebration of Tubman’s 200th birthday this year.
