School District of Philadelphia, Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium team up for vaccine clinics

The School District of Philadelphia and the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium have teamed up to hold a series of vaccine clinics to serve students, staff and families at city schools over the coming weeks, officials announced. The initiative aims to improve rates of vaccination among children ages 5-11, who have lagged in getting shots even amid a surge in cases due to the omicron variant.
