Manayunk Brewing Co. stops making beer after Tropical Storm Ida damage, reopens with emphasis on food

The Manayunk Brewing Co., which was one of the first modern brewpubs in Philly when it opened in 1996, re-opened earlier this month after it closed for nearly half a year due to flooding from Tropical Storm Ida. But owner Mike Rose decided to stop brewing beer, instead focusing on the restaurant’s traditional American pub fare.
